Qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix will be delayed by five minutes after multiple big crashes took place in the F2 sprint at the Red Bull Ring. Firstly, there was a scary crash at the start of the support race , which saw Sami Megeutounif flip his Trident over Luke Browning's Hitech, the halo playing a crucial role in protecting both. The race was red-flagged for that incident, but did get a full run . However, there was another big crash on the final lap involving four cars at Turn 3, which has necessitated the delay. F1 qualifying is due to get underway at 16:05 local time in Austria.
