Formula 1 hopeful Theo Pourchaire has finally sealed a race seat for 2025, having recently revealed to RacingNews365 that he was still searching for a spot.

Pourchaire has been confirmed as a new Algarve Pro Racing driver, and will compete in the #25 Oreca in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS).

The former Sauber Academy driver has never competed in ELMS before, with the upcoming season marking his debut in the championship.

He will partner Lorenzo Fluxa and Matthia Kaiser in the LMP2 machinery, starting from the season-opener in Barcelona next month.

Since winning the Formula 2 title in 2023, Pourchaire has been unable to gain a seat in F1, resulting in his career taking a turn away from single seaters.

Alongside competing in ELMS this year, Pourchaire is Peugeot's reserve and test driver in the World Endurance Championship.

In addition, the 21-year-old recently participated in a Formula E rookie session in Jeddah, where he represented Maserati.
