F1 fans have decided that Sergio Perez was at fault for the late accident with Carlos Sainz in last weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Whilst the pair were battling Charles Leclerc for second at the Baku City Circuit, contact was made on the penultimate lap.
Sainz had gotten ahead of Perez on the exit of the first corner, due to a poor exit for the Red Bull driver who had attempted to overtake Leclerc.
At the following turn, Sainz was wide which allowed Perez to pull alongside the Spaniard on the back straight.
Suddenly, contact was made, sending both drivers into the wall at high-speed. Following an investigation, the stewards opted to take no further action and judged it as a racing incident.
Based on a recent RacingNews365 poll, F1 fans disagree, with 43.57% blaming Perez, 35.82% blaming Sainz and 20.61% being unsure.
