F1 has confirmed the start time for qualifying at the Miami Grand Prix has been pushed back by 15 minutes.

The session was due to start at 16:00 local time, however the schedule was forced into a change following a delay to the sprint race earlier in the day amid adverse weather conditions.

Heavy rainfall resulted in extremely poor visibility with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc hitting the wall and withdrawing before the race got underway.

The track conditions improved as the race wore on with qualifying now looking as though it will not feature the wet weather tyres.

The start of the session is now scheduled to get underway at 16:15 local time.

Kimi Antonelli will be hoping to repeat his strong one-lap performance on Saturday and claim another pole position.
