Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has congratulated Max Verstappen on securing his fourth F1 drivers' title.
The Red Bull driver claimed his fourth consecutive championship after finishing fifth in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the same position he started from.
Lando Norris offered the Dutchman no fight, with McLaren having struggled for pace at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
Whilst Norris did claim the fastest lap on the final lap, Verstappen increased his advantage over the McLaren driver to 63 points – enough to win the title in Sin City.
Domenicali was quick to praise the 27-year-old on joining Sebastian Vettel and Alain Prost in the elusive four-time world champion club.
“I want to congratulate Max on an incredible season and his fourth world title," said Domenicali.
"He is a true great of this sport and has so much more to look forward to in his impressive career. This season has been thrilling and 2025 looks set to be even closer.
"Congratulations Max and congratulations to all the team at Red Bull."
