The Dakar Rally concludes on Saturday with a 105-kilometre test around the city of Yanbu, but whilst the cars and trucks have yet to start, the motorcycles have finished - in dramatic fashion.
Honda's Ricky Brabec held a three-minute lead over KTM's Luciano Benavides, but after the final measuring point, Brabec lost his way as the lead melted away to Benavides.
Benavides was second in the stage, but this was enough to claim overall victory, just TWO seconds from Brabec after 13 days of toiling in the desert.
Tosha Schareina of Honda finished third overall.
