The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the iconic and historic races in all of motor racing.

The twisting, narrow track layout makes the lap an intense challenge for all the drivers during qualifying, with any mistake punished devastatingly.

However, the race has traditionally been a monotonous affair as the track layout does not allow for much wheel-to-wheel action.

The racing has been increasingly stale in recent years, with the cars being heavier and wider than ever before.

Monaco has a spot on the calendar guaranteed until the end of the 2031 season - but does it deserve its place?
