Lando Norris received a huge penalty during the Qatar Grand Prix, one which has been questioned in the F1 paddock. The British driver received a 10-second stop/go penalty for failing to slow under yellow flag conditions, demoting Norris to the back of the field. Norris was in second behind Max Verstappen both when the crime was committed and when the penalty was awarded. He did manage to recover to P10, whilst securing the fastest lap earned the 25-year-old an additional point. McLaren team principal Andrea Stella questioned the severity of the penalty, whilst Mercedes boss Toto Wolff described it as "brutal". Were the stewards too harsh on Norris?
