Former Red Bull driver Robert Doornbos has revealed an additional clause in Max Verstappen's contract, a clause he is "100,000%" certain is included in the Dutchman's deal.
Despite being contracted until the end of 2028, Verstappen has been linked with an exit from Red Bull after George Russell confirmed during the Austrian Grand Prix that Mercedes is speaking to the reigning world champion.

Toto Wolff has asserted Mercedes will finalise its driver line-up for the 2026 F1 season around the summer break this year.
The Brackley-based squad has not yet secured one of the seats for next year's campaign, which will be run under a new set of technical regulations.

Red Bull deliver update on possible driver change
Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has confirmed that a second driver change is not set to take place, despite Yuki Tsunoda's ongoing struggles alongside Max Verstappen since replacing a "completely exhausted" Liam Lawson.
Tsunoda swapped seats with Lawson after the Chinese Grand Prix earlier this year, but has failed to deliver strong performances for the Milton Keynes-based outfit.
