Who is Chase Elliott?

American Chase Elliott was born on 28 November 1995 in Georgia. By the age of 13, Elliott had already driven 40 races in various series. This also made him stand out to Sports Illustrated magazine, which labelled him as an upcoming talent. He won several races and was voted Rookie of the Year. He also set some records behind his name, such as the youngest winner of the Snowball Derby. He already reached this milestone when he was 16. This is not the only record he broke, he was also the youngest winner of the ARCA superspeedway in 2013.

NASCAR Chase Elliott

In 2013, Chase Elliott made his debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, where he immediately put a pole position behind his name that season. He also broke a record with this pole position, as he was the youngest driver to achieve a pole position during the Truck Series. He also won the race at Motorsport Park while only 17 years old. Eventually, Chase earned three wins in the Craftsman Truck Series.

In 2014, he started working as a full time driver for the Xfinity Series. This not without success. That year, he was immediately crowned champion for JR Motorsports. He took five wins during his time as an Xfinity Series driver.

Two years later, in 2016, he made a move to the NASCAR Cup Series and started driving for Hendrick Motorsports. This year, he did not go home empty-handed either, as he won the 'Rookie of the Year' award. He also grabbed pole position for the Daytona 500, which also happened the following year in 2017. Three years later, in 2020, Elliott could also call himself NASCAR Cup Series champion.

Chase Elliott injury

In the 2023 season, Chase missed several races due to an injury to his leg. However, he suffered this injury not during one of the NASCAR races, but while snowboarding in early March in Colorado. He underwent surgery for this, but had to undergo rehabilitation for some time. In mid-April, he got back in the car at the circuit at Martinsville. Here he achieved 10th place.

Chase Elliott father

Since 2018, Chase Elliott has not been driving NO. 24, but with NO. 9 on his car. This is the same number his father drove with for most of his career. Chase Elliott's father is Bill Elliott. He won the NASCAR championship in 1988. He also finished second three times, leaving an indelible impression in NASCAR.

Chase Elliott Chicken tenders

Since 2022, Hooters, which has been a Chase sponsor for many years, has started selling Chase Elliott's Chicken Tenders in a virtual restaurant. Here, you can order fried chicken to which Elliott has attached his name. This also makes him the first athlete to tie his name to a virtual restaurant. He himself thinks it is cool and does see opportunities for Hooters with this concept.
