Williams driver Carlos Sainz is to be investigated after an unsafe incident involving Nico Hulkenberg during British Grand Prix practice at Silverstone.
Whilst he was between Luffield and Woodcote, and just behind the slow Lewis Hamilton, Sainz lost control of the Williams and spun, rolling backwards across the track.
As he spun himself around to rejoin, Sainz cut across the slow-moving Stake of Nico Hulkenberg, with the stewards noting this for a potential unsafe rejoining.
After initial investigations, the incident was upgraded to being investigated, which will take place following FP2.
