The Canadian Grand Prix will be held on June 13, 2021 after a one-year hiatus. Lewis Hamilton took top spot over Sebastian Vettel in controversial fashion in 2019. Will there be more drama in 2021?

Built on the man-made Notre Dame Island, the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve has hosted the event since 1978. Quick and flowing out of the corners with several heavy-braking areas, the low-downforce circuit rarely disappoints in terms of entertainment. The end of the lap sees drivers come face to face with the Wall of Champions, which has seen many of Formula 1’s best ruin their chances at victory thanks to the corner.

The track has seen Ferrari and McLaren come out on top a combined 27 times, though recent years has seen Red Bull and Mercedes victorious more often than not. The 2019 event saw Lewis Hamilton come out on top of Sebastian Vettel in controversial fashion after the German was handed a penalty, with Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc rounding out the podium.
