McLaren's CEO Zak Brown expects to battle Aston Martin once again for third in the constructor's standings, with Sebastian Vettel, tipped to regain his old form after a trying year in 2020. After a season-long tug of war between the two teams, McLaren pipped the Racing Point (now Aston Martin) team to third in the 2020 Formula 1 constructor standings. American Brown expects their British counterparts to push them harder this year with new recruit Vettel leading the charge. "Sebastian Vettel is a four-time champion so while he didn't have a great year last year, I think he'll be on his A-game and highly motivated," Brown said to Sky Sports. The McLaren boss went on the explain how Aston Martin will continue to be a threat this year and how the battle for third will be a similar slugfest in 2021. "That whole grouping we were fighting with last year we're going to pick up right where we left off in Abu Dhabi," Brown stated. "We've got to watch all these guys." Brown also mentioned that he is wary of Ferrari, predicting that their 2020 results were just a blip and the Italian marque would bounce back during the 2021 F1 season. "I would be very surprised if they finished sixth again this year, I think that was probably a bit of a one-off," Brown explained. "It's a great team, they've got two very strong drivers so I think it's going to be a very compressed field this year."
