Mercedes summoned to Spanish Grand Prix stewards

The breach involves the team physiotherapists for both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.

Mercedes have been summoned to the Formula 1 stewards for a Spanish Grand Prix rules breach involving Lewis Hamilton and George Russell's physios. Hamilton and Russell finished second and third in Barcelona behind race-winner Max Verstappen, but the team representatives and the physios on both cars will be required to visit the stewards at 18:30 local time (17:30 in the UK.) The alleged breach involves Article 12.2.1 i) of the International Sporting Code and non-compliance with the Media Delegate's post race procedures. This refers to the physios waiting outside the cooldown room behind the podium until the ceremony has been completed. In the investigation, the stewards found that the physios had entered parc ferme in violation of the rules, and subsequently fined the team €10,000.
