Valtteri Bottas has voiced his support for Alfa Romeo teammate Zhou Guanyu amid speculation surrounding his F1 future.
Having joined the Hinwil-based outfit last year, Zhou was retained for a second campaign after producing an impressive - if unspectacular - rookie season.
The Chinese driver has again impressed with his skills behind the wheel, with his effort for fifth on the grid at the Hungarian Grand Prix a standout, yet the rumour mill has begun to turn with regards to his future alongside Valtteri Bottas, though speaking to media including RacingNews365.com at Monza, Zhou insisted he is still confident that he will remain at the team next year.

However, with nothing yet signed, it has led to speculation over who could fill the seat, with Formula 2 championship leader Theo Pourchaire believed to be an option
But with no deal signed as yet, F2 championship leader and Sauber junior Théo Pourchaire has been touted for a step up to F1.
Bottas, who has led the team since his move from Mercedes, told media including RacingNews365.com: "I think he's made great progress from last year, has made a big step in performance but also in confidence and technical knowledge.
"I really feel like he deserves a place in Formula 1. He's a nice guy as well. A really good guy to work with."
