Bottas reveals rallying exploits in the off-season

The Finnish driver has described returning to his home country over the winter. In typically Scandinavian fashion, Bottas indulged in a bit of Skiing and Rallying in his bid to be ready for the new season.

Valtteri Bottas has been speaking about what he got up to over the winter months, with Rallying being a particular highlight. The Mercedes driver states that he returned to his home nation of Finland during the off-season, to partake in some traditional sports - or specifically, some traditional motorsport. "Every pre-season and time off is a bit different ", he told the Mercedes F1 team's official YouTube channel. "Obviously, now we are in special circumstances around the world, but I had some time in Finland, and had some time in Monaco". Speaking about what he got up to during this time away from F1, Bottas described having a bit of fun alongside the arduous training routines. "I've been healthy, and have had a really solid training program over the winter. I did lots of fun things, like Rallying and Ski-Doo, all these things". The 31-year-old also answered some other fan questions during the video, which can be found below.
