Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto has said that the team’s SF21 car for next season has improved in all areas over last year’s effort which saw the Scuderia fall to its worst result in Formula 1 since 1980.
Speaking shortly before the team’s car fired up for the first time in Maranello, Binotto said that the team remained resolved to post a better result in 2021 after a disappointing 2020.
“We can expect plenty of challenges along the way and we are determined to do better. The car has been improved in all areas where developments are permitted. We must work in a determined and focused way, aware of where we were and where we want to go,” he said.
Ferrari are set to unveil its team and car over two online events on 26 February and 10 March.
