Following the FIA's technical directive issued last week regarding flexi-wings, Ferrari's Mattia Binotto confirmed the team must redesign their rear wing in order to comply. While Red Bull have been at the centre of the controversy , it looks as though they aren't the only team that will be impacted by the decision. Binotto stated Ferrari are one of the teams that would need to make changes. “Yes we are exploiting [the rule],” Binotto told RacingNews365.com and other members of the media. “I think all the teams are exploiting somehow what’s possible and what we believe is right." Binotto stated that while a redesign is required, he doesn't believe the change will have much an impact on Ferrari, who have looked extremely strong in Monaco so far . “We will need to slightly adapt. I don’t think it’s impacting Ferrari much, certainly on the lap time, from what we’ve seen, very, very little. But there is some redesign needed to comply fully to the technical directive. But again, I think as Ferrari, it’s not impacting us much but the redesign is required.”
