Belgian GP qualifying has been delayed

The qualifying session at Spa-Francorchamps for the F1 Belgian Grand Prix has had to be delayed as a result of adverse weather.

Qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix has had to be delayed, due to heavy rain hitting the area. With the track currently too wet to allow for effective drainage, the session start has been delayed to allow conditions to clear up as much as possible. The provisional start time for the session is now 15:12 local time. Rain also delayed the start of the Formula 3 race on Saturday morning, although it was able to get underway after a 45-minute delay.
