Ollie Bearman's running was interrupted early on the final day of F1 pre-season testing as he suffered a broken engine cover in the first hour of running.
As he was going along the pit-straight to open up his eighth lap of the morning, Bearman aborted after the left-hand side engine cover broke away, scattering debris along the pit-straight.
He then trundled back to the pits at a slow speed, with the Haas team then forming a human wall in the pit-lane to block cameras from viewing the exposed internals of the car.
It is the second such failure for Haas in pre-season, after team-mate Esteban Ocon suffered a similar failure, albeit to a lesser extent, during a shakedown at Silverstone.
