Ban-threatened Gasly summoned to Brazil stewards

Pierre Gasly is at risk of accruing more penalty points on his superlicence after falling foul of the stewards in the Brazil Sprint.

Pierre Gasly is at risk of a one-race ban after being summoned to the stewards after the Brazil Sprint race. Following his P10 finish in the Sprint, the AlphaTauri driver was summoned to the stewards after the rule enforcers spotted a possible infringement in the race. He is accused of 'failing to follow the race directors' instructions', specifically for "driving unnecessarily slowly during reconnaissance laps". Should the offence be deemed strong enough for two penalty points, then the Frenchman will have to serve a one-race ban.
