Felipe Drugovich is set to make his long-awaited competitive Formula E debut this summer, replacing Nyck de Vries at the Berlin E-Prix.
It has been reported by Motorsport Brazil that Drugovich will take de Vries' seat at Mahindra for the Berlin double-header in July, due to an event clash.
De Vries is contracted to compete for Toyota in the World Endurance Championship's Six Hours of São Paulo, which falls on the same weekend (12-13 July).
Drugovich was spotted testing Mahindra's Gen3 Evo on Wednesday in Spain, at the Circuito Guadix in Granada.
The Aston Martin F1 reserve driver is yet to race in a single-seater world championship since winning the F2 title in 2022, but has made several prototype appearances.
Drugovich is not new to FE, having previously tested for Maserati in multiple rookie tests. His Berlin appearance will be his first in Mahindra colours.
It has been an excellent start to the season for the Banbury-based outfit, who sit fifth in the teams' championship following an impressive display in the Miami E-Prix.
RacingNews365 has reached out to Mahindra to comment.
