Antonio Felix da Costa has addressed how his relationship with former team Porsche can be used to his advantage in the Formula E title fight, due to knowing "exactly" what they are thinking.
Da Costa spent three seasons with the German manufacturer before joining Jaguar for the current campaign, taking significant knowledge from the Weissach-based outfit to his new team.
The Portuguese driver remains on good terms with much of the Porsche team and is often seen interacting with them, despite the mixed nature of his exit.
While much of it was negative, the Season 6 champion holds no anger towards Porsche and is not intent on 'doing a number' on the outfit at its home races this weekend — the Berlin E-Prix.
Asked if a part of him is eager to defeat Porsche at its home event, da Costa stressed to RacingNews365 in an interview: "No, no, no.
"Unforgiveness keeps others in control, so that's really not my thing. You know, I don't hang on to anger, not at all.
"I love a lot of people in that garage [Porsche], and I spend a lot of time with them when I'm not in my race car, so it's all good — just doing my own thing, and that should be enough to piss other people off, hopefully."
While he has forgiven Porsche, da Costa does believe the time he spent with them can be used to support his pursuit of a second drivers' title.
According to the 34-year-old, he knows "exactly" how the team operates and thinks, something he is certain can support his title chances with Jaguar.
Addressing whether knowing how Porsche operate is an advantage in the title fight, da Costa replied: "I think it can be, and I know exactly what's going on in their minds.
"I think the way they race has been shaped a lot by what we've learned together. So yeah, I can — let's say yes."
