Qatar Airways has signed a multi-year agreement with Alpine to become the official airline partner of the Formula 1 team. The Doha-based airline replaced regional rival Emirates as one of F1's key sponsors at the start of 2023, and has now joined forces with the Enstone-based team. F1 is to return to Qatar next month for the second race at the Lusail International Circuit after a one-year hiatus for the FIFA World Cup following the inaugural 2021 event. Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon's helmets and caps for the October 6th-8th meeting will feature branding from the airline. Both of our organizations are committed to precision engineering and excellence to make the greatest technological advancements in our fields and to drive the most environmentally sustainable outcomes for our respective industries," commented Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker.
