Alpine announce launch date for 2021 F1 car

Enstone-based Alpine have announced the launch date of their 2021 F1 car. Welcoming back Fernando Alonso, the French outfit, formally Renault, will be hoping the Spaniard can propel them up the grid.

The Alpine F1 team have taken to Twitter to announce that they will launch their car on March 2, 2021. The team that is based out of Enstone in the UK will run under the Alpine brand name after competing as Renault in previous iterations. Alpine have lured two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso, back into its fold and has retained the services of Esteban Ocon, who attained his first-ever podium in the sport at last year's Sakhir Grand Prix. The French marque will be looking to improve on their fifth position in the constructor standings from 2020. The details of the launch can be viewed in the tweet below.
