The AlphaTauri Formula 1 team have paid tribute to those affected by flooding in the Emilia Romagna region of Northern Italy. The official website for the Emilia Romagna region of Italy confirmed that two people had died as a result of the huge floods. Following 48 hours of continuous, heavy rainfall, river banks were breached, which triggered widespread flooding and resulted in many areas being evacuated. The city of Faenza, where the headquarters of AlphaTauri are located, was also affected by the rainfall, with the team confirming that some of their staff had been affected by the flooding.
