AlphaTauri have confirmed that their new AT03 has passed the all-important FIA crash tests, as the team gears up for pre-season testing next month. The Italian team reported on social media on Wednesday that their 2022 car has passed the rigorous tests laid out by the governing body. AlphaTauri thus become the second confirmed team to have passed the tests, after Haas successfully cleared their 2022 car at the end of December. Pre-season is slowly gathering pace behind the scenes, with several of the teams offering teasers of their new cars as work continues on the new-look machines. F1 introduces a vastly different ruleset for 2022 , meaning that the teams are heading into the unknown under the new regulations.
