Fernando Alonso will miss media day of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix after treatment for a health scare. The Aston Martin driver skipped Thursday in Mexico City last time out after feeling unwell, and has been diagnosed with an "intestinal infection." In-between the Mexico and Brazil races, the two-time world champion returned to Europe for specialist treatment, but the extra day of treatment he has undergone means his travel plans have been delayed. Aston Martin has confirmed he will "be ready" for the sprint weekend, with Brazilian reserve driver Felipe Drugovich stepping for Alonso's media duties in Mexico. Alonso is ninth in the drivers' championship with 62 points and a best finish of fifth in Saudi Arabia, having retired in Mexico with brake issues in his 400th grand prix entry.
