Alex Albon has taken to social media to drop a comical pun as the new Williams F1 driver line-up is spotted for the first time.
Sainz has joined Williams following a four-season stint at Ferrari, scoring six race wins and 25 podiums in that period.
The Spaniard has penned a multi-year contract with the team and made his debut at the post-season test from Abu Dhabi last year.
Sainz will have the pre-season test next month to get further experience with the team as he looks to play a part in the project of restoring Williams to the front of the grid.
The pair posted on social media in what is the first photo of the duo as team-mates - albeit in plain clothing.
Albon used the caption 'Thai Sweet Chilli' to accompany the picture, referencing his own nationality and Sainz's well-known 'chilli' nickname.
In their own post, Williams referred to the line-up as 'Carbon' - using the first three letters of Sainz's first name and the last three of Albon's second to form the term.
