Edoardo Mortara ended Formula E pre-season testing with the quickest lap time, courtesy of a 1m 21.493 on Tuesday morning.
Across the six three-hour sessions at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, the entire field was separated by just 0.825s, while the top four were split by a staggering 0.009s.
Mortara was closely followed on the timesheets by reigning world champion Oliver Rowland, DS Penske's Taylor Barnard and Norman Nato, marking two Nissans in the top four.
Mortara's Mahindra team-mate Nyck de Vries completed the top five, while 2023 world champion Jake Dennis was sixth.
As for the two rookies on the grid, Cupra Kiro's Pepe Marti impressed in 11th, while Felipe Drugovich was 15th. The drivers will next be on the track in São Paulo, for the season-opener on December 6.
