It is time for the crown jewel on the Formula E calendar: the Monaco E-Prix at the iconic Circuit de Monaco!
The famous streets of Monaco will host the ninth and 10th rounds of the season this weekend, with the drivers’, teams’ and manufacturers’ championships all heating up.
Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein enters Monaco with a narrow three-point lead over Mitch Evans, with the Kiwi in fine form after winning the second race of the recent Berlin double-header.
Mahindra’s Edoardo Mortara is a further five points adrift, while reigning world champion Oliver Rowland is gaining momentum fast.
The factory Porsche outfit boast a 13-point lead over the factory Jaguar squad in the teams’ title, with the constructors’ title also looking set to be decided between the two, who are split by 14 points.
It was Rowland and Sébastien Buemi who claimed the wins in Monaco in 2025, and, just like last year, unsettled weather looks set to threaten again. Unlike any other host on the calendar, no track action takes place on Friday.
On Saturday, May 16, the first free practice session begins at 06:30 BST, before second practice at 08:10 BST.
Qualifying for the first race of the weekend follows FP2 at 09:40 BST, before the race — the ninth round of the season — starts at 14:00 BST.
On Sunday, May 17, third practice gets underway at 07:30 BST, ahead of qualifying at 09:40 BST and the second race of the weekend, the 10th round of the season, at 14:00 BST.
