George Russell took victory in the Chinese Grand Prix sprint to continue his unblemished start to the F1 season, beating Charles Leclerc by +0.6 seconds.
The Mercedes driver topped FP1 and took pole for the one-third distance race at the Shanghai International Circuit.
His four-second lead had been wiped out by the Nico Hulkenberg-induced safety car, but a poor restart from Leclerc handed him an unexpected advantage at the restart.
Lewis Hamilton rounded out the podium places, having struggled to keep pace with his team-mate, who charged through from sixth on the grid.
Kimi Antonelli served his 10-second time penalty when the leading cars pitted during the safety car intervention, and was able to recover to fifth.
Max Verstappen, who started from eighth, fell down the order in the early running, but dragged his Red Bull back to P9, just missing out on points.
