Cadillac Hertz Team Jota locked-out the front row in Hyperpole qualifying for the WEC Six Hours of Fuji – held at the Fuji International Speedway.
Alex Lynn secured pole for the #12 Cadillac following an impressive 1m 28.236, over four-tenths clear of the #38 Cadillac driven in hyperpole by Earl Bamber. The #009 Aston Martin Thor Team completed the top three.
In LMGT3, Eduardo Barrichello, son of former F1 driver Rubens, put the #10 Racing Spirit of LeMan Aston Martin on pole position.
Barrichello sealed LMGT3 pole after setting a 1m 39.981, putting the #10 just 0.030s clear of the #95 United Autosports. It was a United Autosport two-three, as the #59 claimed third on the grid.
