Formula E is back this weekend for the season-opener of its 2025/26 campaign (Season 12) – the São Paulo E-Prix.
It will represent Brazil's fourth time hosting the all-electric series, but its second time hosting the opening round, something it did for the first time last season.
Nissan's Oliver Rowland heads to South America as the reigning world champion, with the Briton set to run the #1 following his title triumph.
He will begin his title defence in the 30-lap race at the Anhembi Sambadrome Street Circuit, which will see each driver have to use Attack Mode twice, due to Pit Boost not being in use.
Porsche start the campaign as the reigning manufacturers' champions, while its factory team are also the reigning teams' champions.
During the off-season, several driver changes have taken place, with São Paulo marking a first competitive opportunity to see the new pairings in action.
Formula E has seen two new drivers arrive, with Felipe Drugovich and Pepe Martí joining Andretti and Cupra Kiro respectively. Joel Eriksson has also returned, having made eight starts in 2021 and two in 2024.
First practice gets underway on Friday at 16:30 local time (BRT), before second practice kick-starts race day at 07:30 BRT on Saturday. Qualifying begins at 09:40 BRT, before lights go out at 14:00 BRT.
