The Silverstone weather gods are currently forecast to have mixed conditions in store for the British Grand Prix this weekend.
Down the years, Silverstone has often been subject to 'four seasons in a day' with the weather, and this weekend is currently forecast to be no exception.
Current forecasts are for a dry Friday and Sunday, but rain is forecast to hit Silverstone just as qualifying is set to begin.
As of Wednesday, 2 July, the forecast is for a huge rain shower to come in from the north-west on Saturday afternoon, and pass to the south-west during the afternoon.
If this cell hits, it would hit the Brooklands, Luffield, Woodcote, and Copse area of the track first.
Temperatures throughout the weekend are expected to be around the 18-25 degrees Celsius region throughout the weekend, far lower than the high 30 degrees Celsius experienced in Britain at the start of the week.
Tuesday, 1 July, was the hottest day of the year so far.
On Sunday, a moderate wind will be blowing from the west, which corresponds to a headwind into Brooklands, and a cross-wind from right-to-left across Maggots, Becketts, and Chapel and onto the Hanger Straight.
