Jak Crawford stormed to victory in the F2 sprint at Imola, leading home Arvid Lindblad by just over a second at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
Hitech driver Luke Browning completed the podium places, whilst Victor Martins and Alex Dunne rounded out the top five positions.
Ritomo Miyata, who started the shorter race on pole after Kush Maini lost his best lap time in qualifying for triggering the red flag stoppage during the 30-minute session, progressively slipped back through the field, ultimately crossing the line sixth.
Championship leader Richard Verschoor, who only qualified in P19, worked his way up to P15 before retiring from the race on lap 23 of 25. Thankfully for the Dutchman, his closest title rival, Pepe Marti, also failed to score points.
However, Leonardo Fornaroli moved into second in the standings by finishing seventh. He is now 10 points adrift of the MP Motorsports driver.
