The Belgian Grand Prix saw Lewis Hamilton take his second victory of the season following a disqualification for team-mate George Russell.

The Mercedes pair drove a strong race, as did several others - but who has come out on top and who failed to impress at Spa-Francorchamps?

Check out the full RacingNews365 driver ratings below and let us know what you think in the comments.

The top five

George Russell - 9.5

Taking aside his exclusion from the results, Russell enjoyed a strong weekend. His race pace was electric and he perfectly nursed his tyres to have speed in hand at the end of the grand prix to fend off Hamilton. Although his car was underweight, it was an admiral drive from the 26-year-old.

Oscar Piastri - 9

Piastri will be ruing not catching up to Hamilton sooner and overtaking the seven-time world champion, in what would have turned out to be a race-winning overtake. Nevertheless, Piastri had an admirable pace all weekend and is clearly growing in confidence as he fashions himself into a consistent front-runner.

Charles Leclerc - 8.5

Leclerc entered the weekend at Spa-Francorchamps amid a run of torrid form, but the outing was just what he needed before the summer break. His third place result marked his first podium since the Monaco victory, as he kept a cool head while coming under pressure late on from Max Verstappen.

Lewis Hamilton - 8.5

It's hard to argue that Hamilton was the stronger Mercedes driver last weekend, but the now 105-time grand prix winner was in place to capitalise on Russell's misfortune after failing to overtake his team-mate despite having much fresher tyres at the end of the race.

Daniel Ricciardo - 8

Starting on the Soft tyre was a bold call from RB - however the early stops from some of its rivals aided the decision. Ricciardo had mighty pace throughout the grand prix and moved into the points when Russell's DSQ was confirmed. The reward comes at a critical point for the Australian with his F1 future a relevant topic.

The bottom five

Yuki Tsunoda - 5

Tsunoda spoke after the race of struggling for pace throughout the weekend, which is clearly evident looking at the timesheets. The Japanese driver was consistently slower than team-mate Ricciardo but spoke after the race of feeling “there was something going on” with his car after a chat with his engineers.

Sergio Perez - 5

It was far from Perez's worst performance of the 2024 F1 season but with his F1 future at Red Bull on the line, it was not the performance he needed. Although he put himself in a respectable starting position, Perez only went backwards throughout the 44-lap race - he did, however, bag the extra point for fastest lap after making a late stop for the soft tyre.

Logan Sargeant - 5

Like Perez, it wasn't Sargeant's most substandard performance of the year, but it was once again uninspiring. It appears the American driver's exit from the team is all but confirmed with team boss James Vowles revealing his pursuit of Carlos Sainz over the weekend.

Zhou Guanyu - 4.5

It was a weekend to forget for Zhou who qualified dead last after a mismanaged strategy during wet qualifying. In the race, he only completed a handful of laps before being forced to retire with a hydraulics issue.

Pierre Gasly - 4.5

Cosplaying as The Wolverine for the weekend, Gasly could have used a superpower to help lift his fortunes. He lacked pace compared to team-mate Ocon on all accounts across the weekend and finished in 13th while Ocon managed to take home a duo of points following a strong qualifying effort.
