It is easy to forget that in his 2012-2013 prime, Romain Grosjean was a quick driver who deserved to have at least one Grand Prix win to his name.
That probably should have come at the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix, but he was passed for the lead by Sebastian Vettel as he steamrollered the opposition in his nine straight wins.
But Grosjean's F1 career will forever be remembered for his miraculous escape from his burning wreck at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix.
His life was saved by the halo protecting his head as the car went through the barrier, escaping with only minor burns, before embarking on an IndyCar career having already lost his seat at Haas for 2021.
