To say Lewis Hamilton wasn't happy with how his Monaco GP played out would be an understatement.
While Mercedes certainly earned their plaudits in Spain given their decision to bring the Brit in for a second pit stop ultimately helped them take victory, their choice in strategy backfired in Monaco.
"I saved the tyres to go longer and you made me stop before everyone," Hamilton can be heard saying on the team radio. The Brit lost two places after an early stop, with Sebastian Vettel and Pierre Gasly managing to get ahead.
To make matters worse, Sergio Perez stayed out longer as well and found himself ahead of Hamilton as well after his stop.
