Third Singapore Grand Prix F1 practice suffers delayed start

There is a delay to the start of FP3 at the Singapore Grand Prix, but will the Formula 1 session even start?

Running in the third and final practice session for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix has been reduced in light of heavy rain at Marina Bay. The rain, which caused W Series qualifying to be abandoned early, has moved across Singapore and is drenching the track. FP3 began at its scheduled start time of 18:00pm local, but the green light at the end of the pitlane did not come on. Drivers are not allowed out onto the track, and the session timer will continue to tick down. Should conditions ease, the session will last however long is remaining on the clock instead of the planned full 60 minute session. Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz Jr topped FP1 and FP2, respectively on Friday.
