Promising new Red Bull juniors confirmed in Formula 2 for 2023

Adding to their growing list of development drivers who have competed in the junior series, two of Red Bull F1's latest recruits have been confirmed as Formula 2 drivers for 2023, racing at the same team.

Red Bull development drivers Enzo Fittipaldi and Zane Maloney have been confirmed as a Formula 2 drivers for the 2023 season. The Carlin Formula 2 team will feature an all-Red Bull battle, with both Fittipaldi and Maloney being added to Red Bull's driver programme at the end of 2022. Enzo Fittipaldi, grandson of two-time Formula 1 champion Emerson, already has one year of F2 experience under his belt, where he took five podiums in his rookie campaign for the Charouz team. Maloney, who finished a close second to Victor Martins in the 2022 Formula 3 Championship, was signed to the Red Bull junior programme after a strong finish to an impressive first season in the series. The Carlin team have been associated with several Red Bull juniors in recent seasons, including Yuki Tsunoda, Jehan Daruvala and Liam Lawson. Along with Tsunoda, their F1 graduates throughout their time in F2/GP2 include Lando Norris, Felipe Nasr, Jolyon Palmer and Max Chilton.
