Full starting grid for 2026 F1 Canadian Grand Prix
George Russell will start the Canadian Grand Prix from pole position after going narrowly quicker than Kimi Antonelli in qualifying.
It is yet another Mercedes one-two on the grid at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, with both McLaren cars on the second row, led by reigning world champion Lando Norris.
Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen form an exciting third row, ahead of Isack Hadjar and Charles Leclerc.
However, with rain forecast throughout race day, a strong qualifying performance does not necessarily guarantee a strong race result.
Lance Stroll originally qualified on the back row of the grid, but after Aston Martin opted to change power unit components, he was demoted to the pit lane.
NOTE: Grid remains provisional until officially confirmed by the FIA.
